About
Chess tournaments, run simply
JomChess Tournament Manager helps organisers run chess tournaments from the first registration to the final standings. It is built for community events, school championships and club tournaments.
It is made by Fitweb Technologies Sdn Bhd, the team behind JomChess. We built it because many local events still pair players by hand or with old desktop software, and players wait for results on paper.
Swiss and round robin
Dutch-style Swiss pairings by score groups with colour rules and no rematches, or Berger tables for single and double round robin.
FIDE tie-breaks
Buchholz, Buchholz Cut 1, Sonneborn-Berger, direct encounter, wins, Koya, progressive and ARO, with FIDE's rule for unplayed games.
Public results
Players, parents and coaches follow pairings, results, standings, the crosstable and each player's card on any phone.
Print and PDF
Clean A4 pairings, standings and crosstables to pin on the notice board or save as PDF.
Works offline
Weak wifi at the venue? Save the event on the laptop, keep pairing and entering results, then send the changes when you are back online.
Safe by design
Each organiser sees only their own events. National ID numbers are never shown to the public.
Good to know
- JomChess Tournament Manager is free during the beta. Paid plans will come later, with advance notice, and events already run stay online.
- The first 30 organisers who join by 31 December 2026 become Founding Organisers: every feature JomChess Tournament Manager has on that date stays free for them for life.
- The pairing program is not endorsed by FIDE, so it suits events that are not FIDE-rated.
- Organisers enter ratings themselves; JomChess Tournament Manager does not change official FIDE or national ratings.
